I fully subscribe to the fact that RAMDEV is a bhogi and roghi but not a yogi,  practicing of few asanas and pranayams does does not not make one a yogi.

It is alleged that RAMDEV compelled his guru Swami Shankardevji to hand over the huge land under his trust Divya jog Mandir Trust in his favour and immediately after hand over of the land Swami Shankardevji the creator of the trust vanished in thin air and there was no trace of swamiji since then and Sants of Haridwar apprehends Swami shankardevji has been murdered.

This bhogi RAMDEV, even filed application for registering the word “VEDIC” to be used as his trade mark in his business of  selling CDs,DVDs relating to spirituality and religion. Whereas “Vedic” is a word that orginates from “Vedas” which is believed by Hindus as the script of GOD and the word being in public domain, is not registrable as TRADE MARK. Whereas RAMDEV filed this application for registration of trade mark in a foreign country, where the word “vedic” is not in public domain.

This bhogi also collected religious donation by paying commission to the collectors which could be substantiated from his balance sheet. The Bhogi also illegally availed Income Tax exemtion u/s 80G.

This bhogi who solicits donation from member of the public have donated Rs.11 lakh to BJP during 2009 election and in turn enjoys political protection.
